A27 Public Consultation

Highways England (HE) will be holding a public consultation about the A27 Worthing and Lancing improvements scheme between Wednesday 19 July and Tuesday 12 September 2017.

From 19 July onwards there will be consultation materials on HE's website www.highways.gov.uk/a27Worthing-and-Lancing

All responses to the public consultation will be considered by HE's project team. The closing
date for responses is 11.59pm on 12 September 2017. A report on the public consultation
will be produced later this year.

At the public consultation events, there will be information about the proposals and members of HE's project team will be available to discuss any queries that you may have.

There will be a range of information and copies of the consultation brochure and
questionnaire, various background reports and supporting information available.

information about the proposals, including the brochure, online questionnaire, frequently
asked questions, various background reports and supporting information. Please visit:

How to respond

You can complete the questionnaire and:

  • Post it to FREEPOST A27 WORTHING-LANCING free of charge
  • Return it to HE at one of their consultation events
  • Submit it online at: www.highways.gov.uk/a27Worthing-and-Lancing

This consultation is an opportunity for you to comment on the future direction of the scheme,
and HE have committed to reviewing and considering all comments received. I would encourage all of you to engage as much as possible in this public consultation as we must ensure that Worthing and Lancing receive an fair and adequate share of the funding.
