Many thanks to everyone who has been in touch with me regarding Universal Credit – apologies for the delay in getting this information up on my website.
This week in Westminster has been shaping up for yet another vote on Brexit on Thursday, rather unfairly dubbed by some as a ‘Valentine’s Day Massacre’ though is not exactly clear why.
My full speech from the debate in Westminster Hall this afternoon on rough sleeping - very proud to be able to talk about the scheme we have in Worthing. Immense credit must go to Roffey Homes, Turning Tides, Cllrs Alex Harman and Keith Bickers, to name a few.
Over the last 10 years or so Shoreham has gradually been transformed and is now at risk of becoming a victim of its own success as more people look to move into this once quiet and largely bypassed town.
My weekly look ahead from a wet and gloomy Shoreham. Refreshingly Brexit-light this week – but equally important subjects to be addressed including the Pond Road redevelopment, nursery petitions, rough sleeping and more.
Thank you to the many residents who have been responding to my ‘week ahead’ podcasts which I have been publishing on my Facebook page at the beginning of each week since the New Year.
From outside the Crown House Benefits Office and Jobcentre in Worthing, an update on the much-discussed Universal Credit and how it’s working for our residents.
