It wasn’t so much the red carpet but the House of Commons green carpet that was rolled out for the eBay Business Awards event in Parliament last week. I am delighted that one of my constituents was on it.

Southern Water visit and Beachbuoy monitors

In a recent visit to Southern Water to assess plans to tackle odours and spills I was shown the 'Beachbuoy' monitors. I often receive bulk campaign templates from constituents who have received alerts from Surfers Against Sewage, who I am absolutely supportive of.

Southwick Square regeneration and improvements

The opening of Southwick Square is a great community-focused development to improve the physical space by constructing streetlamps for concerts, and hopefully encourage something of a ‘café culture’ in the summer on this large, open space.

Adur and Worthing Mental Health resources

On Tuesday the 10th, I attended Worthing’s 11th year of Mental Health awareness week events co-hosted by Bob Smytherman, previous Mayor of Worthing, and Melanie Peters in aid of spreading awareness of the challenges for those experiencing mental issues.

Shoreham Flying School closures at Shoreham Airport

With the closure of Shoreham Airport’s Flying Training Academy in June this year, many students who were starting or continuing their pilot training courses have been left in the lurch, with no financial compensation or alternative course placements.

Update on Warren Road roadworks, Worthing

More needless disruption on our roads — this time on the busy Warren Road in Worthing where a lane has been closed off and temporary traffic lights put up, causing congestion and chaos.

Update: Norfolk Bridge roadworks

Inevitably I have been inundated with emails about the latest traffic chaos in Shoreham caused by roadworks at the Norfolk Bridge.
