My latest video on how farming and our precious Downland environment are so important to Sussex and why I would protect and promote them if I became the first Sussex Mayor
We are fortunate to have a generation of farmers in Sussex who look after our precious downlands and locally produce the fantastic food and drink that we desperately need. Yet, they are being treated appallingly by this Labour government. I met Hugh at Applesham Farm in Coombes to hear about the current challenges he is facing, including the government's tax on family farms. If I am fortunate to become the Mayor for Sussex, I will do everything I can to support our farms, promote Sussex produce, and preserve our Downs — it is essential for our food security, our energy security, and our environment.
