A quick reminder that the consultation on how stroke services are delivered in West Sussex is still open.
As the Government's stroke awareness campaign emphasises, it is really important that you act as fast as possible. However, these proposals would mean that some people will have to travel further and this is acknowledged in the details of the consultation online. The biggest impacts would fall on my constituents in areas which are either in or adjacent to Worthing, such as BN11 and BN14.
Given these concerns I would urge anyone who is worried about the changes to respond to the consultation. There is still plenty of time to respond to the consultation, which runs until 21 April, and I would encourage you to do so via the link below.
