COP 26 Climate Change Conference 2020 Petition

Climate change is a serious and pressing concern. I know that many East Worthing and Shoreham residents care deeply about our environment. The UK has a leading role to play in tackling climate change. However, this also needs urgent attention from the Governments of the world.

The 2020 Global Climate Change Summit (COP26) will be a crucial moment for the future of our planet. The UK is bidding to host this conference and a decision will be made soon.

I would therefore urge you to sign this petition so that we can send a clear message to Governments all across the world that the UK is ready to step up and take leadership.

Please return this petition to me as soon as possible, and no later than Friday 14th June 2019.

I'll also have the petition on me at the upcoming Selden and Shoreham street surgeries, which you will be able to sign if you'd be interested.
