Letter to the Secretary of State for Transport – Fare Prices

I arranged a site visit with SGN gas and the ward councillors to Poulters Lane, Worthing, where the whole road is supposedly closed for three months for laying new gas pipes, to see if this could be speeded up and if better diversions could be put in place. 

A27 Update

A meeting of the A27 Working party was held on Thursday September 15th chaired by Councillor Tom Wye and attended by Sir Peter Bottomley and me, local councillors, and representatives from local businesses and residents’ groups.

GTR Dispute Update from the RMT

As you will be aware our members will be taking strike action on GTR Southern for forty-eight hours from 00.01am on the 7th September.

Southern Update: GTR respond to further RMT strike action

GTR, owner of Southern Trains, has urged the RMT to call off their planned 2-day strike (planned for September 7 and 8) and get back round the table to find a solution to their “futile” industrial action.
