- New symptoms for testing: Anyone with a new continuous cough, or a high temperature or the loss or change of sense of smell or taste can book a test.
- Testing will be available for all symptomatic members of the public. The testing eligibility will be widened to include all symptomatic members of the public (please note testing is not yet available to children under the age of 5).
- To get ready for the national rollout of Test and Trace, 21,000 contact tracers have been recruited and trained to help people with suspected or confirmed coronavirus to trace their contacts most at risk of infection and provide advice to those contacts, including how to get a test.
