Tim Loughton MP is wearing red on 11 February during PMQs to support National Heart Month
The British Heart Foundation (BHF) launches its new Red for Heart campaign as part of National Heart Month this February and Tim Loughton Member of Parliament for East Worthing and Shoreham is wearing red to help fight the UK’s biggest killer - heart and circulatory disease¹.
Tim Loughton said: “I am urging the people of East Worthing and Shorehamto support National Heart Month by going Red for Heart.
“I decided to go Red for Heartinding out that you or a loved one has a problem with their heart is terrifying, but there are effective and well-tested treatments improving patients’ prognosis every day. With the help of the British Heart Foundation and the excellent work that the experts and staff do here at Worthing hospital help heart patients manage their condition, improve their health and recover their quality of life after a cardiac event, such as a heart attack or heart surgery”.
By wearing red to work on Friday 13 February, for a suggested donation of £1, you will help the BHF save lives through pioneering research, patient care, campaigning for change and by providing vital information.
