Tim urges support for local charity PARLEY with Christmas appeal
Tim Loughton is urging the community to continue its support for the Christmas appeal of local charity PARLEY (Parents and Relatives Listening and Emphasising with You), of which he is a patron.
Parley have successfully raised sufficient funds for a state of the art electric cot which Tim and Santa Claus will be presenting to Worthing Hospital's Children's Ward in time for Christmas. They aim to fill the cot with money, chocolate, sweets, toys, books etc as Christmas gifts for the children to keep. These are to be donated by individuals and companies in the community and Tim urges as many people as possible to support them in their efforts. Commenting on the event, Tim said:
'It is fantastic that Parley have managed to raise the funds for this vital piece of equipment for Worthing hospital. I am delighted to continue to support the excellent work that Parley does and invite the community to do the same by getting involved in the Christmas appeal and any others in the future.'
Donations can be made at Buddy's Caf? on South Farm Road Broadwater Wednesday to Saturday 11am-2pm ideally before the end of November. Likewise, collections tins are also available. For any further information regarding donations supporters should get in contact with Victoria Pizer via the website www.parleyonline.co.uk or through their group on social networking site Facebook.
