TELLTIM.CO.UK what you think about the PCT consultation

In a bid to raise yet more public support for the KWASH campaign to save Worthing and Southlands' hospitals from being downgraded by plans imposed on Sussex by central Government, Tim has launched a video podcast and survey of local opinion on his new website www.telltim.co.uk

www.telltim.co.uk is a unique website where the local residents of East Worthing and Shoreham can download a video podcast recorded by Tim and KWASH demonstrators explaining the importance of fighting to save these local hospitals. The broadcast was recorded outside the new Community Ropetackle Centre during a rally by KWASH protestors.

Most importantly the website has a short questionnaire on local health services which all of Tim's constituents are encouraged to take a few minutes to fill out. The results of the survey will be collated by Tim who hopes to use them to further his struggle to make the PCT listen to local concerns over the threat of downgrading.

Tim commented:
"We have been fighting the battle to save our local hospitals for over a year now. So far over 100,000 people have signed the KWASH petition and the campaign has seen the largest protest march in the history of Worthing but despite this the health authorities are still not listening.
"West Sussex Primary Care Trust and the South East Coast Strategic Health Authority are pressing ahead with plans to downgrade Worthing and Southlands Hospitals. This is despite all our public opposition and the lack of clinical support.
"I am hoping www.telltim.co.uk will encourage local residents to communicate their views and ideas both about the Fit for the Future consultation documents and how the KWASH campaign can be even more effective."
