Tim holds a thank you party
One hundred and fifty constituents helped East Worthing and Shoreham MP Tim Loughton celebrate 10 years as a MP at a party held at Tim's Sussex home on the Sunday before last. The guests included Adur and Worthing councillors past and present and officers of the East Worthing and Shoreham Conservative Association going back more than 10 years.
Tim thanked all those attending for the help that they had given him and also thanked the Conservative Party locally for helping to make the constituency such a solid Conservative stronghold - with a large number of hard working local councillors.
Association Chairman Cllr Kevin Skepper praised the team work between the MP, councillors and officers of the local Conservative Party to which he attributed their electoral success. As a former Lib Dem councillor himself he said that East Worthing and Shoreham Conservative Party had welcomed him and many other former Lib Dem and Labour councillors who had found themselves at home in the Conservative party and were all working hard for a Conservative victory at the next election.
