Save Our Village !

Tim has linked up with the Save Our Sompting campaign and Sompting councillors to oppose a large new development being proposed on the old West Street Nursery site and adjacent land in the old part of Sompting village.

A developer has lodged proposals to build 36 new houses which threaten to dominate the village, would be in the Strategic Gap and conservation zone and inflict yet more traffic chaos on an already heavily congested area.

Tim has branded this as an ‘excessive overdevelopment which would completely challenge the character of this historic village and would set a dangerous precedent’. Details can be found on the Parish Council’s website on www.sompting.org.uk
